batch change PDF Subject, Author in File Properties - w/o buying new software

I have Adobe Acrobat CS3 Pro.

Is there a way to batch change the subject and author in the "File/Properties" dropdown - "Description" tab ... w/o having to buy addional thrid party software?

if you have Acrobat Pro you can use the Batch processing command from the advanced menu.

Select a 'new sequence', give it a name and add 'Description' to the sequence. Select Edit and type you new values in the appropriate field.

Exit out of the edit and select run options and specify output folder and then run sequence.
