Hope this help.

With refer to another problem opened by you and the problem is the same because the stack trace is the same. The url of another problem opened by you

An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high.  This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.

As hardware problem occurs randomly and the both problem has the same symptom. Probably it is the device driver error. I examine the module list of the dump and I have following findings.

1. Your version of realtek sound card driver (ALCXSENS.SYS) has known problem whcih cause BSOD.
    ALCXSENS.SYS Tue Feb 24 02:11:09 2004      403A423D
    Upgrade realtek sound card driver.

2. You have 2 antivirus installed at your PC. Kaspery AV and AVG. I believe that the AVG is not in-use. Anyway it is good practise to un-install AVG.  Your version of Kaspery AV also has known software problem.
     klif.sys      Tue May 15 16:40:47 2007      4649720F
Kaspery AV has a lot of known problem which causes BSOD. You had better un-install Kaspery AV and install another AV.

Thank you for taking the time to look at this.

I have updated the realtek driver as you suggested.  However, I am mystified by the Kaspery antivirus.  I have never installed it on this machine and my control panel does not show the program.  I have installed AVG and from all indications it is running succesfully.

It there another source? From my quick research, I see that the klif.sys is included as part of Zone Alarm.  Could that be part of the code included with the Zonealarm that have have as a firewall?

I found there have another problem opened by you.

Is it the same problem? The stack trace of your latest dump  is similiar to that problem. The minidump of the old problem did not have klif and the ZA is 2004. I believe that ZA was upgraded after October 2007. It eliminates the klif.sys is the culprit.   The problem is weired.  I reviewed the software list at your lpatop and only realtek sound card  has known problem.  If it is is hardware problem, the crash pattern is random and your pattern is similar.  Probably it is the firmware of the BIOS. Upgrade the firmware of the BIOS of your laptop may resolve the problem.

Report your problem to Toshiba and eqnuire any BIOS firmware problem which cause windows crashed at timer routine.

Yes, I would say the same issue.  I have upgraded my zone alarm along with realteks drivers.

I have not a BSOD, so I will consider this closed and award points.

Thanks for your help
