asked on

exchange and outlook send as a alias

I have a network where I need to be able to send as a alias for one of the users there is about 5 guys that do this and this user could always do it and for some reason they can not do it now. I set it up the same as the other guys but when he tries to send as the alias it says

You do not have permission to send to this recipient.  For
assistance, contact your system administrator.

Which version of Exchange do you use?  If Exchange 2003 have you installed any updates recently?

Just re-read the error - are you sure that the problem is that you cannot send as an alias and not that they cannot send to the recipient?
i checked with the user and they can not send to anyone as the alias?
