Arcserve Backup error 8604 (401) Invalid Agent ID

Good day

I cannot find any solution. I checked log, the full error message:
8604 Failed to backup (DBNAME=\Individual Mailboxes\Sales. EC=EXCH Exchange Agent -- (410) "Invalid Agent ID")

The similiar log is shown about 5 users.
I have checked for those users mailbox account is normal. their account is still active.

Try this first...

Go into the client agent on the server to backup, go into options, click on configuration, and then click password security.  Type in the password for the account you are using and then save it. Then try your backup.

Hi,

Check if the backup is failing for only those three are four a/c's and see if they have any restrictive permissions. I mean logon as/send as is set to deny for these users. Normally the when you are trying to backup user mail boxes the user a/c that you have setup in the exchange agent config tries to log into those users mail boxes and backup the mail boxes. If there are any kind of restrictions for those specific mail boxes then you need to reconsider and review the security for that 5 user mail boxes.

I found the solution. but then I can't remember how I resolved it.
