htaccess rewrite to chop out a portion of the url

I have another htaccess rewrite question. I want to "chop out" any portion to the left of the word "store" in a url.

The rewrite must only apply if "store" is in the url

EG: must rewrite to must rewrite to

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In the .htaccess file

Option +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule .+/store(.*) /store$1 [L]
#note, if You want the user to see the change in it's address bar, change [L] to [L,R=301]
