PROBLEMS ACCESSING THE MODEM

Hi all.
I don't see (understand) the answer to this question and I have the same problem.
"You don't have the priority to operate this DUT!"
Can you please give a more positive (easy) answer.
My router is a 3Com OfficeConnect Wireless 11g Cable/DSL router.
I had a networking problem on my home network were I lost all networking functions. To get the network back I rolled the system back 3 days. All the network system are working accept logging into the router. I am using the correct password but getting "You don't have the priority to operate this DUT!"
Any suggestions please?

Could you supply a few more details about your network please? Are you running a Windows-based network with a server/domain controller, or some other configuration? Do you have a DHCP server (is it the router or ?) or do you use static IP addresses for your network? A little more information along this vein would be helpful, but ...

In any event, it appears at first glance your router has become unstable or has died. Have you tried resetting the router to the factory default settings? If so, you will need to set your computer's IP address to another address in the same IP range as the default. Then you should be able to access your router's setup page and reconfigure it as you wish. If you cannot establish a direct connection between one computer and your router (with an ethernet cable) while both are set to the same IP range, I would guess your router has died.

If you do not know how to reset your router, please supply the exact model number and I will post instruction on how to reset it.

Hi Furshur.
Hope I have put the correct information up. Awaiting reset instructions please.
Yes, I have compiled a walk-through of the process, but now I need to organize it in a relatively lay way. Now that I am home for the evening and my own research is done, I will post a reply in clear English for you some time before midnight. Hmm....Have fun, and BTW, don't always roll back the windows setup first thing. Talk to you soon.
