Exchange 2003 - corrupt files

I am running Veritas Backup Exec 10d on Win 2003 server with Exchange. I have 3 files that are coming up as corrupt in my backups of the mailboxes. How can I remove these files?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You are doing brick level backups - these are ineffective, slow, and painful to administer.

The only way to clear those errors is to go through the mailbox and find the corrupt items.

The best thing you can do is simply to stop doing brick level backups - backup the information store only, and watch your problems melt away...
