I have a variable in my movie which has a hex colour code as it's value i.e. "#ffcc00"

I have also got a movie clip with the instance name 'border'

Can someone tell me the actionscript that will take that variable value and set the movie clips 'Tint' to that colour and 100%

setProperty("border", _alpha, "100");
