Try completely uninstalling the ASUS ATK Keyboard software from the control panel. Reboot the computer, then reinstall the software from ASUS's website.

yes but where on the site, I clicked on the link but I do not know what the software is called.  I also looked at my add/remove programs tab and i also dont see atk software, what is its proper name?
Do you see anything in your Add/Remove Programs for ASUS? What is listed?
Having not found an install package for the keyboard software, it may be something included in the chipset drivers. Either from the ASUS link I posted above, select Motherboards, then your model, and search the site that way. Or maybe check out this link here and download the chipset driver for your board. If you do not find any program to uninstall, that would back the thought that it is just included with a driver set. Try reinstalling your chipset drivers and reboot. Let me know what happens.
