Mysqlslap - where is it hidden?
Hi there,
Was just reading about using mysqlslap for query / stress testing - but I can't seem to find it on my two dev machines!
Both are running mysql5 - but I just can't seem to locate it anywhere. The manual says to just type it in at the shell, but I get.
[nick@local ~] mysqlslap
bash: mysqlslap: command not found
Even doing a whereis or locate can't find this mysqlslap!
argh!

Hi,
Updating might be a solution. I don't know if the latest you can get has the program in.
Seems that 5.1.23 has it as far as I can tell.
Of course, the alternative would be to build it yourself.
Cheers,
