Blocking email to certain external recipients in exchange 2003

We want to block our staff from sending emails to a particular domain. (ie anything@xyz.com). We don't want either side to know that these emails are being blocked. Basically we just want them to disappear with no NDR or error sent to either the sender or intended recipient.

Can anybody tell me the best way of doing this in exchange 2003?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Go ahead and block the receiver's domain in recipient Filtering..from Global Settings - Message Delivery - Properties...

Also you will need to select Recipient Filteriing from the server's SMTP Virtual server's property - General - Advanced - Edit - Select "Apply Recipient Filter".

restart the smtp service.  hope this helps.
