Better Networking Security

hi all,
Everyonce in a blue moon my domain gets hit with 2500 attempts to access the domain using various user names and password via hackers password generators, I am using SBS 2003. is there an embeded solution in microsoft to disable or lock that IP address for a period of time? or are there a good solution to accomplish the same results or maybe something else for better security?
