entourage email body strange formatting
When a mac user receives and email from a .gov [so it seems], the body of the email is unreadable with a bunch of symbols instead of text. When the user clicks 'reply' the body content outputs fine. This is the latest version of entourage, running on OS X 10.4.11.
Entourage 2004 or Entourage 2008?
If it is Entourage 2008, there is posting at today's MacFixit ( http://www.macfixit.com ) suggesting there are problems with fonts installed by Office 2008.
They suggest temporarily removing the Microsoft fonts folder from /Library/Fonts and restarting. Alternatively, disable all duplicate MS fonts.

the encyption at the source of .gov is almost certainly the issue. Hopefully I can eventually fix this with 2008 Entourage.
