Outlook 2003: When updating a contact

When updating an email address on the contacts, you can change to the new email address.  But if it's on the main contact screen, it still shows the old email address.  When you go to send that contact an email, it will pull up with the updated email address.  How can we get rid of the old email address and have it show with the updated email address on the main contact screen?
1 Solution
Are you talking about the autotext feature? Meaning, when you start to type in the email address, it comes up with the incorrect or old email address in the TO section?
If so,
Delete a name from the AutoComplete list
Select the unwanted name by using the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW key.
