Reinstalled Exchange 2003 using the disaster recovery switch.  Does SP2 need to be installed using the disaster recovery switch too?

We reinstalled our Exchange 2003 using a disaster recovery switch.  That went through fine without any issues.  However, when trying to apply the SP2 using the disaster recovery switch, error pops up about
"the component microsoft exchange messaging and collaboration services cannot be assigned the action disaster recovery b/c ... must be a full exchange administrator at the organiation level" although I'm a membe of full exchange administrator group.
So I was wondering if it'd be okay to apply the SP2 without using the disaster recovery switch?

You should also install the service packs with the disaster recovery switch:

See the following for reference:

See "Installing Exchange Using the Disaster Recovery Switch" Text after figure8.

Per this article, you may need to use a different account to complete the action:

I am looking for any SP2 specific changes that may have an effect on this.
