How to copy a Sql Server 2000 machine to a Sql Server 2005 machine

We have a server running SQL Server 2000 and a new Server running SQL Server 2005. I need to copy the entire server from the 2000 box to the 2005 box. Everything has to get copied, all database, objects, jobs, the replication needs to be copied as well, DTS packages etc. What's the best way of doing this? Is there a way to copy the whole server in one go or do I have to copy each set of objects at a time e.g. Databases, then DTS's, then jobs etc.

Investigate SSIS in 2005, it's the new DTS wizard essentially but on steroids. There is a chance you could acheive what you were after. However I think it would be safer to import all the data and jobs and re-configure the replication again to avoid any conflicts.

Have you considered upgrading the SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 directly? I would take a full backup first though... microsoft upgrades have been known to break everything...

Hope this helps.
