How do I create a shared folder that gives users rights to copy folders/files there, but not delete or edit them once they have been saved?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

We did something similar to that at one of our schools.  The teacher wanted a place for students to "drop" their assignments but once they are in there they can't delete or modify them.  The image below is what we set to do this.  It's been a while since we did it so I can't remember if that is all we did.
