I have developed a web site/app in MS Visual Studio 2005 and deployed it to a web server.  The way I was told to do it was to just copy the entire project folder from my development hard drive to the server, and then change the web config.  But this does not seem correct -- all of my source files, etc. are out there now.

Shouldn't I just be moving the "executables" out there along with any supporting files and folders?

What is the minimum I need to move to a server to deploy a web site?
