That would be feedback. There should be a setting in the soundcard audio that refers to monitoring. This should be disabled or unchecked as it allows the speakers to output whatever the microphone picks up.<br />
Or you can mute the microphone from the speaker icon in the taskbar.

Hello.<br />
I have a Sony Vaio SZ series laptop that's about 6 month old, and all of a sudden it started to make LOUD WHINING NOISE (Type of noise that you hear when you bring microphone very close to speaker - loud high pitch noise).<br />
I can't find any info about that problem online. The only solution that i could find is disabling built-in Microphone. Any ideas?<br />
