Enlarging the text in Macintosh mailbox

I have a new Apple Macintosh Desktop computer. I am familiar with PCs and I am trying to get used to the Mac.

In the mailbox I want to make the text of the list of emails in the inbox larger.  I am going to VIEW and TEXT and selecting large.  That only increases the size of the text of the email message.  How can I change the size of other text?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you are using Apple Mail, drag down the Mail menu to Preference and go to the Fonts tab.
