What does the W2K box have set as its DNS Server setting?

If it is pointed at the loopback IP (127.0.0.1), change it to the actual IP address of the W2K box instead.

Error seems to be the AD box is registering on a DNS server that it has no rights to register.

Like CorpComp says what DNS server is it pointing?
