Display Property Tabs Missing

This morning I turned my PC on to find that the Windows XP theme was set to the old grey dull version.

I went to try and change this but the Display Properties box now has all of the tabs missing.

I have searched the web but dont seem to be able to figure out how to get them back?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The only thing I can think of is running a program we used call cleanup yesterday, it is a standalone machine in a workgroup :)

I have tried running that vbs file but that hasn't seemed to help either from the link.

have you looked at you group policy?
