Windows 2003 Server/Network monitoring

Hi I am currently trying to evaluate some server/network monitoring software and I am getting a little disheartened at software which promises to deliever everything but never comes up to the mark! Can anyone recommend something worth having a look at?
What I want to monitor is:
7 Windows 2003 servers (inc 4 DCs 2 of which are on remote sites and an Exchange server)
     - specifically the diskspace, CPU usuage and RAM usage but also all errors in the event logs on all servers.
I also want to monitor our network kit which includes HP procurve switches and Cisco routers (handling VPNs to 2 remote sites)
     - specifically I want to know what machines are using most band width and which protocols, I am aware of Cisco netflow but I can not find something that display all the information in a format which is simple to anaylise.

HP OpenView is probably the most popular network management product available, and it supports any SNMP device including Windows 2003 servers.

There are various open source alternatives to HP OpenView, and they can all be viewed from this page: http://www.osalt.com/openview-network-node-manager
