Postmaster and Abuse Issue

What is this postwaster@domain.com and abuse@domain.com story. I have read alot about this on the internet that we must have these account if using exchange server. I normally receive emails in my account which are non deliveries either going out or coming in. does that confirms my postmaster is configured? tell me how do i configure these 2 email accounts. and why they are important? thanks

I beleive that postmaster is a RFC requirement, you can add this proxy address to whatever you consider your postmaster account (administrator etc)

Has Powershell sent you back into the Stone Age?

If managing Active Directory using Windows Powershell® is making you feel like you stepped back in time, you are not alone.  For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why.

you can setup postmaster@yourdomain.com as secondary smtp address in exchange (through ADUC).
Or you can create a new mailbox for this.

I guess if you are receiving the non deliveries, it is set up correctly.  You can also specify in exchange that NDR are not deliverd anywhere.

Abuse is not necessary to setup.
