Create Backup Copies of SBS 2003 CDs

Hello EE,

I'm trying to create a disaster recovery plan. I've got everything copied and ready to go (if i need) except for copies of the actual SBS 2003 CDs.

All i would like to do is create replica cds of the install cds, in order to recovery my server onto another server, if for example a my server was destroyed as well as the orginal CDs.

Is there going to be issues creating bootable cds or even copyright protection?

Many thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No problem - just use a CD copy program - Nero works just fine.

- providing these are for genuine backup purposes there are no issues with copyright and the CD themselves are not copy protected in any way.

Make sure you keep a copy of our product ID safe as well.
