How to start a web site

I have attempted to use iisreset to start a web site that has been stopped. To my surprise, this does not restart my default web site which was stopped. Restarting the w3svc service doesn't start the stopped web site either. Does anyone have or know of  a command line utility that will start a stopped web site? I need this for a script/batch file.  Thanks for the assistance!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm not sure... Are you having problems getting the website started, or you are just working on a script to start it?

Here is the command line help to start the website:

iisreset will only restart the site if it was previously started, or stopped due to an error.  The iisweb.vbs which comes as part of the adminscripts with IIS 6.0 can help you restart individual sites.

Best of luck,
