Create another subnet under Reverse Lookup Zones

We have 3 physical (and logical) sites. Each site is on a different subnet connected via routers. we have a DNS server at each site. We have 1 Domain. When configuring a new DNS server at a new Site we need to know if we should choose "Primary Zone" or "Secondary Zone" at the new Site.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

For a domain you can have one primary server and many secondary servers.

For Reverse lookup zone, you may have the dns server is one site to be the primary server for the reverse zone for the subnet it is in. DNS servers in other sites might be configured secondary for that reverse zone.
