hi guys,

i am new to this forum. i was looking at the example
(http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Languages/Scripting/JavaScript/Q_20659034.html) in the forum its amazing.

but i need some more help.

i want to split this table into small sub tables.

i mean, i want to have headers and sub headers for the table and they should not be counted for selection and values need to be passed accordingly. also want to move the rows inside the sub tables up and down with an up and down buttons near the submit button.

please find the file attached.

appreciate ur help.

Hmm, that is quite a tricky one....

I will take a look asap

It does however not make too much sense from a user's perspective to multiple select something that can be moved up inside its sub area

First change:
Do not allow headers to be selected

function toggleRow( oRow ) {
  if (oRow.className=='header') return

   <tr class="header"><td colspan="3">Sub Header 1</td></tr>
.
.
.
   <tr class="header"><td colspan="3">Sub Header 2</td></tr>
