Drivers for SATA Raid 5

Hi,
I am trying to install SCO unix 6.0 on a dell server and it has SATA Raid5 raid card with 3 SATA hard drives. For some reason SCO is not recognizing the configuration. I am not able to locate additional drivers. Please help..

What Raid card do you have installed (i.e. Make, Model Number)?
What Dell Server Model Number are you attempting to install it on?

I also found this e-mail embedded in a thread:

DEAR All,

We had the question.

At the moment, DELL do not support SCO on 9G (so 2900). So, no drive are available, configuration won't be supported.

If you want to install the driver anyway, first ask the SCO support for solution, and if you have no solutions, you may try directly the LSI provided drive. I am not sure it could work, as the PERC 5i has an DELL Firmware, but you can try. You could also try the driver for OpenServer 5.0.7 or the OpenServer 6.0.

Anyway, I repeat, not dell supported, no support, at your own risks.

This mail is not an DELL Official answer.

If you need an official answer, please call the DELL support.
