Avaya IP Office 412 and Phone Manager Pro as softphone over Cisco VPN issue

Hello,

I have the Avaya 412 with the voip card. I have only the phone manager, configured for voip and it works with in my LAN. My problem is it will not work over the vpn, the vpn is fine I can ping everything on my network but the Avaya 412 pbx.

Is there setting in the 412 that I need change in order for it to respond to my VPN traffic?

I haven't tried an Avaya 412 over a VPN but it sounds like your issue is one of NAT traversal. If you have two sites, site A and site B, lets say you have a subnet at site A such as 10.10.1.X and at site B you have 10.10.2.X for voice,
can you ping IP phones at both sites from site A? from site B?

I can ping it with in site a but when remote i cant even pint the ip office 412 pbx. Strange because every other node is pingable on the vpn. Thanks for the responce.
