recomended setting for ASP.net 2 IIS 6 heavy use app
Hello.
can anyone give me a list of recomended settings for a heavily used application written in asp.net 2 (vb) whcih connects to a SQL Server 2005 database.
it is heavily used throughout the day (8-6).
i am interestied in what people recomend for app pool settings, etc expecially.
we hav eht application in a dedicated app pool. it has a single worker process and recylcles before and after working hours.
it is also set to recycle when it uses 400mb ram.
we have had some problems with the process using 100% CPU and occasionally taking huge amounts of memory.
