linux waite long time when boot
When i boot my redhat it wait long time for receive ip form dhcp server how can i skip this process

The question states that they're running redhat... so I'd assume they're running redhat :-P.
My guess would be that either they're booting w/o a network (on the road) or they're using wireless.

Depends if You just want to set static IP, or You have two eth's and dhcp is configured on the unused one, etc.
