Reading saved event viewer log

Hi,

Anyone know how to read SAVED Event Viewer logs?

You should know that we can save Event Viewer logs and it should come up with files :

Application.evt
Security.evt
System.evt
CustomApp.evt (example)

How can we parse that files and display the content in, let say, TMemo.

Thanks.

You can try Inthe's solution:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Languages/Pascal/Delphi/Q_20095952.html

and change

OpenEventLog (PChar (Server), PChar (Source));
to
OpenBackupEventLog (PChar (Server), PChar (Source));
in
procedure TNTEventLog.Open; method

use Source as filename and path of backup file

haven't tried that but in theory this should work:)
