Outlook unable to open excel attachment : This action is only valid for products that are currently installed.
The user double clicks on excel attachment and gets error : This action is only valid for products that are currently installed.
However the user can double click to open excel files if she saves them first.
But other attachments are fine for double clicks within Outlook.

Make sure this is cleaned out... Not the normal symptom of a SecureTemp problem, but worth looking at....

If that doesnt work then recreate the Outlook profile. You may first want to save away the address cache (the .nk2 file) which contains the addresses the user has prevoiusly sent successfully.
You find the .nk2 file here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Applicatio
After recreating the profile you can restore the file to the same location assuming you used the same name for the new Outlook profile.
