Msn Contact LIst Not Showing

Hi. I have a problem with getting my msn contact list to show. It shows only one name. The other 14 is missing. I've tried a friend's account and it works fine. The wierd thing is that I have a single group named "offline" - which has that 1 name. Then its blank all the way down. If I were to go to Options-> Privacy, under allow list, all my contacts are there. I can even view who has me in thier list. But in the main window they don't show up. I'm using Windows Live Messenger 8.5. One more thing, when someone adds me, the accept dialogue box does not appear. Is something wrong with my account?

Hey blurSoul,

You might want to Install a newer version of Windows Live Messenger.
Also you might want to see if you -can- get your list on someone else's PC. To check if its the actual software or your account having flaws.

I hope this helps.

Hi Shadowmage
I have tried your suggestions. But upon using and older version of Msn it prompts me to get the latest. If not it won't work. So I've resorted to signing up for a new account. Thanks for your help though.
