CCR an SCR in Exchange 2007

If I have 3 Exchange 2007 mailbox servers (2 configured in a CCR cluster and 1 configured as a standyby using SCR), can the 2 nodes in the CCR cluster be configured as active/active?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

No. Exchange 2007 does not support Active/Active CCR nodes. I've seen this clearly stated on the MS Exchange Team blog site and I think it was mainly due to issues with Active/Active setups in Exchange 2003.

Just say NO to A/A

nope Active Active cluster with Exchange is gone......

If you want multiple node clusters you have to use SCC clustering.....
