connecting to a cisco switch wihtout a com port

hi is it possible connect to a cisco switch using the console port without using a com port , i have a laptop with no com port on it i have a cisco rollover cable

The switch may have an IP address assigned to it for management purposes.  which you can then telnet to.  alternatively, you would need to use the consol cable supplied with the switch, and obtain a  serial-to-usb adapter to connect tot he concole cable and make it into a usb connection.
