How to include folders in zip file
I'm trying to zip a folder with a lot of subfolders, some of which in turn have subfolders, etc.
I know there is a way to do this as I have received ZIP files with folders.
When I try to add a folder, it (WinZip) instsits on opening the folder & forces me to select files in the folder that it then adds to the files already in the zip file. It will not preserve the folder structure.
How do I make a zip file with folder structure preserved?

Just download justzipit http://free-backup.info/ which is a free zip/unzip utility that works great and is super easy. Once installed you just double click a zipped file to unzip it and right click a file that you want to zip and left click 'Just Zip It - Create a zip file' and it will create a zip file with the file structure intact. Hope this helps, Eric.

WinZip also support drag and drop, so if you have the zip open, just drag a whole folder onto the window.

WinZip DOES NOT work. The only problem with your solution is you didn't say where it put the compressed file. I had to find it.
