Nested Fieldsets

Given the following HTML code I would like to have the "nested_one" and "nested_two" fieldsets render next to each other horizontally, which is how IE7 displays them, however other browsers display them "stacked" one per line. Any recommendations on how to fix this?
<fieldset name="outer" style="padding:8px;margin:5px;">
<legend>outer</legend>
<fieldset name="nested_one" style="width:10px;padding:6px;margin:3px;background-color:#F5FF80">
<legend>nested_one</legend>
</fieldset>
<fieldset name="nested_two" style="width:10px;padding:6px;margin:3px;background-color:#99FF80">
<legend>nested_two</legend>
</fieldset>
</fieldset>

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
