Mail doc link is returning wrong document in lotus Notes 7.
I created a Survey for an IT Help Database. The tech will send this survey off to his customer once the ticket is in "Close" status. The customer will receive this survey via email...by survey memo document. In the survey memo, a button is attached for the user to trigger the survey. Once he/she completes the survey, a copy of the completed survey gets stored in the IT Help Database via a "Return Survey" button in the survey form. When the customer hits this button, a copy of the survey is sent to a surveys view in the IT help database and a copy is mailed to the IT chief. When the IT chief opens the email and clicks the doc link of the returned survey, another form opens. It's a blank IT Service Request.
When I look at the document properties of this blank form, the form says "Survey." It's not the survey form...It's the "Service Request" form.

Would it be possible to utilize a different strategy and create an agent in the IT help db that checks for new survey responses and sends out a message with the link to the survey doc instead?
Also, you need to post the code behind the buttons so that we can check it.

Yes, that would work...Can you please send me sample code that you would use in this agent. I want to see at least if i'm on the right track.
