Installing Eclipse in unix

I have downloaded eclipse for linux and uploaded into the unix server and unzipped the zip file. I found only one folder by name plugins and something called @LongLink. Could anyone guide me to setup eclipse

It doesn't sound like you've downloaded the correct file.  Did you download this from your package manager or from the website?

website. The only difference it is mentioned as Linux. If this is not the correct file where can I get a correct file. Mine is not MAC system too. It is unix
You should have downloaded the file from here:

The name of the file is eclipse-java-europa-fall2-linux-gtk.tar.gz

After that, you execute the command "tar xvfz eclipse-java-europa-fall2-linux-gtk.tar.gz" in a command prompt.
