When I print labels they print off the edge to the left but printing a document is fine.

Experts,
I have a customer with an issue printing lables in both Microsoft Works and Word. Printing a document is fine, but when they are printing labels, the text starts off the page to the left. I have tried adjusting the margins, but it doesn't seem to change anything. Does anyone have any ideas?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Right click and select Properties from the printer.
Then select:
General
Printing Preferences
Paper Quality
In the "Type is" drop down menu select Labels.
Some label print requires their own software to be installed in order to format properly.

I"ll try this. The labels printed fine for the past 2 years and all of a sudden...this.

We used those options and then installed a new program. I think the new program fixed the alignment problem. Thanks.
