Network Monitor has stopped my Active Directory

Hi,

I installed Network Monitor on one of our domain controllers.  Since then Active Directory will not open on that machine only.  In the application tab in event viewer I am getting every 5 mins event 1030 and 1006.
I tried uninstalling Network Monitor but it has made no difference. While installed I had event 4011 and 9999 in the DNS server tab, but that resolved after the un-installtion.
I have yet to reboot the server as it is the File server for a few people.  Could it be the solution?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Again,
After the un-installation of Network Monitor the internet now also does not work on that one server.  The message that comes up when I try to open Active D is "The server is not operational"

Please help
