how to upgrade ADO 2.7 to 2.8

I distribute an access application (.mdb and not mde)
I use reference ado 2.8 and my customer has 2.7 install (version of msadoc on programme file/common/system/ado
How can i do install 2.8
Precision : my application does not allowed to bypass the start menu with alt tab , so i can't change the ref to 2.7

You can download the redistrutable exe from microsoft-site.
Install this on every pc that requires the new mdac.

the .mdb installed on a server Win2000NT , used withe TSE, and the main application (which is not mine) is using SqlServer
is it a risk to do it aginst sql server ?
I don't think, because the connectionstring will be the same. So I guess that the dll,... has a better performance, ...

Do you need to use the 2.8 library? If not, then try referencing the 2.7 library in your Access application and deploying that.

good idea but i think i have found better : put my msadox.dll 2.8 in my application folder and referenced it at this place - so i leave the 2.7 in place and it seems ok
