Hi i have recently setup a new customer with windows SBS2003 and all the updates however when i try and run the ntbackup from server management it fails each night saying unable to find media, now the tapes are in but they are being put into &quot;unrecognised media&quot; pool. now when i change this to free media and start the backup manually it works fine.<br />

also the tapes are brand new<br />
<br />
is there any way to make the tapes go to free media straight away or do i have to do each one manually first????<br />

The Server management backup fails to pick up the tapes

Computer data storage, often called storage or memory, is a technology consisting of computer components and recording media used to retain digital data. Small Business Server (SBS) is a line of server operating systems targeted at small businesses by bundling the operating system with a number of other Microsoft products that would normally need to be purchased or licensed separately. The most notable inclusions are Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint and ISA/TMG (Microsoft's firewall and proxy server).
