I'm considering buying this as we handle a lot of PDF's, and the Adobe Reader is limited.<br />

We are looking at doing the following:<br />
a) comparing PDF's<br />
b) converting PDFs to MS Word and other formats<br />
<br />
Does anyone know if Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard covers this functionality ?<br />
Is there perhaps a cheaper product out there that does this as well ?<br />
What does Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard have over and above other cheaper products, to justify the cost difference ?<br />
