Date problem with SSIS (XP workstations)

We are using an application (SSIS en SSRS, versie 9 SP2) from which the files and the SQL Server 2005 database are on a server.

If we run reports from the windows xp workstations there are problems with the dates.

If i adjust the local date it does work but only in USA format.

We used to have windows 2000 (sp4) workstations and it always worked. But not with XP.

Can anyone advice me please ?

I'm not sure what 'problems with the dates' means, but if you're just talking about the format (i.e., US vs UK), why not use SET DATEFORMAT to change the order of the date in the reports?

per BOL:

Examples
This example uses different date formats to handle date strings in different formats.

SET DATEFORMAT mdy
GO
DECLARE @datevar datetime
SET @datevar = '12/31/98'
SELECT @datevar
GO

SET DATEFORMAT ydm
GO
DECLARE @datevar datetime
SET @datevar = '98/31/12'
SELECT @datevar
GO

SET DATEFORMAT ymd
GO
DECLARE @datevar datetime
SET @datevar = '98/12/31'
SELECT @datevar
GO
