aspEmail is not working, getting back a timeout message, nothing else

Whenever we try to send out email from Windows 2000 Server ASP page using Persits aspEmail we just get a message that it has timed out.  We are trying to send out through an SMTP relay server and everything is correct in the name/username/password.

This system does have Sygate personal firewall installed, but I can't get to the configuration panel because I'm going in through Remote Desktop.

One other peculiarity is that aspEmail never writes anything to the log file.

Any ideas?

This could be a permissions problem.  Try using it when you are logged into the server using the command line as a local Administrator.  If it works that will confirm the problem is permissions.
