Install Sql Server 2005 on Vista Home Premium

hello there,

i have installed sql server 2005 on vista home premium.i just want to work with the db.i dont need the reporting service or other BI features.so i did not install IIS.but now when i try to log in with windows authentication.i get error.login failed for user zolf-pc.is IIS neded to run sql Management studio.i also tried localhost
my computer name is zolf-pc and the user i log in with is zolf.

please help

Launch enterprise manager using right click > run as administrator.

IIS is not needed to run SQL Server.  You have to run as administrator via the right click menu in vista.

I believe that the question asked has been answered and should not be deleted.
