Account created by copying a user, "reply" emails are addressed to the account used to create the new user

I recently created a new Exchange/AD user account, using the "copy account" feature.  Regina's account was created by copying Joe's.  All of Joe's info was replaced by Regina's in the process of creating the new account.

When Regina sends her husband an email (to an external account) and her husband replies, Joe's name pops up in the "to" field of the reply message in addition to Regina's.  What's going on here?  We routinely create IDs this way and I've never had this happen before.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

this issue cleared up on its own after the weekend.  We never did find out what caused the problem.
